This Vegan Whipped Feta Dip might be my favorite dish of all time. It is packed with flavor from the herbs and lemon juice, but is so light and airy, you’ll have to stop yourself from eating the whole thing in one sitting.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Versatile – Use this as a dip, as a whipped feta spread on a sandwich, or with veggies like in my Golden Beet Salad.
- Amazing flavor – The flavors of the feta combined with the herbs and lemon are just the perfect match. You can easily add more or different herbs and spices to this dip if you prefer.
- Super fast & easy – This vegan feta dip comes together in 5 minutes with just 8 ingredients. Other than the Vegan Feta itself, you probably already have everything in your pantry to make this dish. Vegan cheeses have been much easier to find, as most grocery stores now carry them.
Ingredients for Vegan Whipped Feta Dip
-
- Vegan Feta – I use the Follow Your Heart Vegan Feta Crumbles as the base for this recipe. I’m not sponsored by this brand, we just love it.
- Olive Oil – A high-quality EVOO helps make this dip nice and smooth and balances the flavors.
- Lemon Juice – A little bit goes a long way to add a tangy flavor to this dip. Fresh squeezed or bottled lemon juice both work just fine.
- Oat Milk – Any plant milk will do. I prefer oat milk as it does not change the flavor of the dip, but helps add some creaminess to it.
- Garlic – Fresh minced garlic is always preferred, but you can substitute garlic powder as well.
- Oregano – Fresh or dried herbs work here. Feel free to add more herbs if you’d like! Parsley and basil would go great with these flavors.
- Salt & Pepper – A touch of salt and fresh-cracked black pepper help to make these flavors pop.
How to Make Vegan Whipped Feta Dip
This dip is super simple to make. All you have to do is all all of your ingredients into a blender and pulse until your desired consistency is reached.
I prefer a smoother dip, so I use a single-cup blender for easier cleanup.
If you don’t have a traditional blender, you could try adding all ingredients into a bowl and using an immersion blender. Or you could mix by hand with a whisk and/or potato masher until all ingredients are evenly mixed. This may result in a chunkier texture, but who has ever been upset about chunks of feta in their dip??? No one.
Ways to Serve Vegan Whipped Feta Dip
- Serve solo as a dip with veggies, crackers, or pita bread.
- Spread on a pita or piece of bread instead of mayo in a sandwich or wrap.
- Serve with cooked veggies in a salad like this Golden Beet Salad.
How to Store Vegan Whipped Feta Dip
- Fridge: This dip will store in the fridge for 3-5 days in an air-tight container.
