  • Lime & Lemon Juice – The citrus juices give this crema its zesty punch as well as help preserve any leftovers for a longer period.
  • Spices – Garlic powder, paprika, and salt are all the spices this sauce needs. Feel free to add some cayenne for a little heat.
  • Spinach (for color) – The spinach is actually not necessary, I add it for color preference only. The paprika adds a brownish hue to this sauce, so I like to add some fresh spinach to bring it back to the bright green one expects from an avocado. It does not change the flavor at all, but bonus – it does add some nutrients, so why not?
