If you are making your own Italian Bread, you'll want to make that first, then let it cool and slice it into pieces of your desired size.
If you are opting for store-bought bread, take 8 slices and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the oven is heating, prepare your herb butter. Place the vegan butter in a mixing bowl, and add the diced fresh or dried herbs. Mix well.
Spread the herb butter evenly on each piece of Italian Bread.
Top with vegan parmesan cheese and bake at 375 F for 12-15 minutes or until the edges of the bread are browned and crispy.
That's it! Enjoy!
Notes
Not Vegan? Use dairy butter and parmesan cheese instead of vegan. Serve with your favorite Italian-inspired dish or top with pancetta or salami for a twist.
Gluten-Free? I have not attempted making my Italian Bread gluten-free, but there are definitely store-bought versions of gluten-free bread. If you try it, let me know how it is!
Want a twist? Top this cheesy garlic bread with Bruschetta Dip for an impressive appetizer option.
